About Us

We enjoy being creative and experimenting in the kitchen. Cafe Mirepoix combines those two interests and so we teamed up with our friend and chef who wanted his weekends back. Together, we produced this collection.

All of our products are 100% natural with none of the nasty stuff and produced in a purpose-built kitchen. We make our products in batches small enough to highlight the beautiful ingredients we work with.

Wherever possible, all of our ingredients are local to Cumbria and the close relationships with these farmers and growers have been established over a number of years. These relationships allow us to reduce food miles and ensure we're using the freshest produce.

Our honey comes from a local cooperative where beekeepers bring their wildflower nectar to us and let us do our bit!

We believe that the best way to do good is to make decisions based on the aim to leave the world in a better state than you found it. We hope to do this in many ways. To start, we are planting a tree for every order we receive. We also give 10% of our revenue to charities such as Mental Health Foundation, Cancer Research and Friends of the Earth; all of which are close to our hearts.
